Day 7 of 10 Days to Pentecost with Rev Sharon Wooten
Day Seven – Supply
Ask God to reveal the place where we are to dig our new wells and find our supply. Genesis 26 is a key chapter for this time. It is the story of Isaac re-digging the wells of his father, Abraham. He dug his first well and named it Esek, because there was strife between his men and the men of Gerar. He dug another well and they quarreled over it too, so he named it Sitnah. He then moved and dug another well named Rehoboth because they did not quarrel over it.
The name Rehoboth means God has made room for us and we will be fruitful in the land. Ask God to make room for you. Ask Him to give you a Rehoboth, which is a place of expansion and increase.
Isaac later dug a well and called it Sheba, which means well of the oath, covenant, or seven. You have a new and better covenant and can believe God to open up and help you establish your provision. Genesis 26:12 says, “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him.” Ask God to show you the good ground where you need to sow your seed. Sow in expectation of an abundant harvest (John10:10).
